Tour Plan
Your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel by one of our expert guides. After an early breakfast, you’ll set off, stopping first at a traditional drum-making village to meet and engage with local artisans. Next, we’ll pause at the iconic Equator line, perfect for memorable photos before continuing on to Bwindi.
After an early breakfast, you’ll head to the park headquarters for a briefing from park rangers covering the guidelines for your trek. Here, you'll be grouped with up to 8 others before setting off on your trek to encounter one of the world’s most endangered species, guided by experienced rangers. You'll have approximately one hour with the gorillas, observing them as they feed, play, and go about their routines. Depending on the gorillas' location and movements, this unforgettable trek may take anywhere from 2 to 8 hours.
After an early breakfast, check out from the lodge and begin the journey back to Kampala, with a lunch stop in Mbarara town along the way.
Continue to Kampala, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to the airport for your flight home.
